PocketPorts Terms of Service
Last updated: May 15, 2026
These product-specific terms apply to PocketPorts on iOS and Android. The WeaveHub umbrella terms at /terms cover your overall relationship with WeaveHub (entity, billing pipelines, liability, dispute resolution); where the two conflict, these product-specific terms prevail for PocketPorts. See also the PocketPorts Privacy Policy.
Overview
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and WeaveHub Technologies LLC ("WeaveHub", "we", "us") governing your use of PocketPorts. By installing or using PocketPorts, you agree to these terms and to the WeaveHub umbrella terms at /terms.
What PocketPorts Is
PocketPorts is an ownership-verified, mobile-first network port scanner and exposure monitor. PocketPorts scans hosts you have verified ownership of — using DNS TXT verification for domains or reverse-DNS / network-of-record validation for IP addresses — and reports open ports, service fingerprints, and exposure findings. PocketPorts is not a general-purpose internet scanner and is not intended to scan third-party infrastructure.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use PocketPorts.
Ownership-Verified Scanning — Your Responsibility
You may use PocketPorts only to scan hosts and IP ranges that you own, that you operate, or that you have explicit written authorization from the owner to scan.
- For domains, PocketPorts requires DNS TXT record verification before scanning. You are responsible for completing verification only on domains you control.
- For IP addresses, PocketPorts validates the asset against ownership signals (reverse DNS, network registration, or other heuristics). You are responsible for confirming you have the legal right to scan the IP before adding it as a monitored asset.
- You acknowledge that running unauthorized port scans against third-party infrastructure may violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (US), the Computer Misuse Act (UK), equivalent laws in other jurisdictions, and the terms of service of the network or hosting provider. You accept full responsibility for the legality of your scanning activity.
- WeaveHub may suspend or terminate accounts that scan assets without authorization, that attempt to circumvent the verification flow, or that generate complaints from network operators.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use PocketPorts to perform reconnaissance against systems you do not own or are not authorized to scan.
- Do not use PocketPorts as a denial-of-service tool, vulnerability-exploitation tool, or unauthorized penetration-testing tool.
- Do not circumvent or attempt to bypass the asset-ownership verification flow.
- Do not abuse the scan rate limits associated with your tier, or attempt to exceed quotas through multiple accounts or other technical means.
- Do not resell or redistribute PocketPorts scan results as a paid service to third parties without prior written agreement with WeaveHub.
- Do not scrape, copy, or systematically extract WeaveHub's CVE database, banner database, or other findings catalogs.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods; store-purchase refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
WeaveHub may adjust pricing or tier limits with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified of material changes through the App Store / Google Play renewal flow.
Cancellation
Cancel through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Access remains active through the end of the current billing period. Cancellation reverts your account to the free tier; monitored assets in excess of the free-tier limit may be archived but will not be deleted from your account history.
Findings, Severity, and Remediation Guidance
PocketPorts reports open ports, banner data, service fingerprints, and CVE matches based on signals collected during scanning. Severity ratings, exposure scores, and remediation guidance are best-effort, machine-generated estimates and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. PocketPorts is a monitoring tool, not a substitute for a qualified security review or professional remediation engagement. You are responsible for validating any finding before acting on it and for determining the appropriate remediation steps for your environment.
Service Availability
PocketPorts is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Scan completion, alert delivery, and asset verification depend on third-party infrastructure (DNS resolvers, network providers, push notification services) and may be delayed or fail due to outages, rate limits, or upstream changes.
Liability, Disputes, and General Terms
WeaveHub's overall liability framework, dispute resolution procedure, governing law, and general contract terms (including limitation of liability, indemnification, severability, and assignment) are set out in the WeaveHub umbrella terms at /terms and apply to PocketPorts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these product-specific terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of PocketPorts after a change means you accept the updated terms.
