PocketIntel Terms of Service

Effective: March 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PocketIntel mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by WeaveHub ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

By creating an account or using PocketIntel, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

PocketIntel is an AI-powered cybersecurity intelligence aggregation platform that:

  • Aggregates publicly available cybersecurity content from sources including RSS feeds, the National Vulnerability Database (NVD), the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog, Mastodon, and other public security information sources
  • Uses artificial intelligence (Cloudflare Workers AI and OpenAI GPT-4o-mini via Cloudflare AI Gateway) to summarize, tag, categorize, and extract indicators of compromise (IOCs) from public source material
  • Delivers a personalized cybersecurity intelligence feed based on your configured preferences
  • Sends configurable push notifications for vulnerabilities meeting your selected CVSS severity threshold
  • Allows you to submit custom URLs for AI-powered summarization

PocketIntel is designed for cybersecurity professionals and security-conscious individuals who want to stay informed about threats, vulnerabilities, and security developments.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All summaries, tags, categorizations, IOC extractions, and other processed content displayed in PocketIntel are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated summaries may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. They are not a substitute for reading the original source material.
  • PocketIntel always provides a link to the original source for every summarized item. You should verify all information against the original source before taking action based on it.
  • AI-generated content does not constitute professional cybersecurity advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional consultation.
  • AI-generated CVSS assessments, severity ratings, or threat evaluations may differ from official ratings and should be independently verified.
  • The accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of AI-generated content is not guaranteed.
  • We continuously work to improve AI accuracy, but no AI system is infallible.

Do not rely solely on PocketIntel summaries for critical security decisions. Always consult original sources, official vendor advisories, and qualified cybersecurity professionals for matters affecting the security of your systems and data.

3. Account Registration

To use PocketIntel, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or another authentication method we may offer. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately at legal@weavehub.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Pricing

PocketIntel is available as a paid subscription service at $2.99 per month (USD). Pricing is subject to change with reasonable advance notice.

4.2 Free Trial

New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription.

4.3 Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel it. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges.

  • iOS Users: Your subscription is billed through your Apple ID account. To cancel, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your Apple device and select PocketIntel, or manage your subscription through the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Android Users: Your subscription is billed through Google Play. To cancel, go to Google Play Store > Subscriptions and select PocketIntel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

California Auto-Renewal Disclosure (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code 17600 et seq.):

YOUR POCKETINTEL SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW ON A MONTHLY BASIS AT $2.99/MONTH (USD) UNTIL YOU CANCEL. YOU MAY CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AT ANY TIME THROUGH YOUR APPLE ID ACCOUNT SETTINGS (iOS) OR GOOGLE PLAY SUBSCRIPTION SETTINGS (ANDROID). CANCELLATION WILL TAKE EFFECT AT THE END OF YOUR CURRENT BILLING PERIOD. YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR SUBSEQUENT BILLING PERIODS AFTER CANCELLATION. NO REFUND WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE CURRENT BILLING PERIOD UPON CANCELLATION.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android) in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.

4.5 Price Changes

If we change the subscription price, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice. For iOS, Apple will notify you and require opt-in to the new price. For Android, Google will notify you in accordance with Google Play policies. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PocketIntel to:

5.1 Prohibited Conduct

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Service by automated means
  • Redistribute, republish, or resell PocketIntel content, summaries, or intelligence feeds, whether in original or modified form
  • Create derivative products or services based on PocketIntel content or data
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, access controls, or usage restrictions of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code through any feature of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service

5.2 Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against conduct that violates these Terms, including suspension or termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

6. Custom URL Submissions

PocketIntel allows you to submit custom URLs for AI-powered summarization. By submitting a URL, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit URLs to content you are not authorized to access.
  • Paywall circumvention is prohibited. Do not submit URLs to content behind paywalls, login walls, or other access restrictions. PocketIntel employs detection mechanisms to identify paywalled content and will reject such submissions.
  • We do not guarantee summarization of all submitted URLs. Some content may be inaccessible, unsupported, or unsuitable for summarization.
  • Submitted URLs and resulting summaries may be subject to the same AI disclaimer described in Section 2.
  • We reserve the right to limit or disable custom URL functionality for any account that abuses this feature.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Source Content

PocketIntel aggregates and summarizes content from publicly available cybersecurity sources. The original content remains the intellectual property of its respective authors and publishers. PocketIntel:

  • Does not reproduce full article text from any source
  • Generates AI-powered summaries that are original derivative works
  • Always provides links to the original source material
  • Respects the intellectual property rights of content creators

7.2 PocketIntel Content

The Service itself, including its design, features, AI models, source code, and branding, is the property of WeaveHub and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

7.3 Trademark Disclaimer

PocketIntel references vendor names, product names, logos, and trademarks throughout the Service for identification and informational purposes only. All third-party trademarks, including but not limited to Microsoft, Apple, Google, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, VMware, Adobe, Oracle, and all other vendor names and product names mentioned within the Service, are the property of their respective owners. WeaveHub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these trademark holders unless expressly stated otherwise. Use of these names within PocketIntel does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship.

7.4 Your Content

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without obligation to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Informational Purpose Only

PocketIntel provides cybersecurity intelligence aggregation for informational purposes only. The Service is not a substitute for professional cybersecurity analysis, incident response, penetration testing, compliance auditing, or any other professional security service.

8.2 No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR AVAILABILITY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE
  • AI-GENERATED SUMMARIES, TAGS, IOCs, OR OTHER CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE
  • THE SERVICE WILL COVER ALL RELEVANT CYBERSECURITY THREATS OR VULNERABILITIES
  • ANY DEFECTS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED

8.3 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WEAVEHUB, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
  • SECURITY BREACHES OR INCIDENTS THAT OCCUR DESPITE USE OF THE SERVICE
  • RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT THAT IS INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE
  • SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS OR UNAVAILABILITY
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) THIRTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($35.00 USD).

8.4 Essential Purpose

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY EVEN IF ANY REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WeaveHub and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Your submission of custom URLs that infringe third-party rights
  • Any dispute between you and a third party related to your use of the Service

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the app settings or contacting us at legal@weavehub.app. Remember to cancel your subscription separately through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings to avoid further charges.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We discontinue the Service or any material part of it
  • Your account shows signs of unauthorized use, abuse, or fraud

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Sections 2, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12 survive termination

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may pursue resolution in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

11.3 Class Action Waiver

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

12. General Provisions

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and DMCA Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WeaveHub regarding the Service.

12.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

12.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

12.5 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
